Bangkok: Thai people said yesterday more than 100,000 students in Thailand were sick suddenly. All of them were taken to the hospitals rapidly. The parents of patients were shocked and serious.
A health expert suspected that people who spent time to surf social network for 7-8 hours or more everyday can be infected with mysterious social network virus easily. This sort of virus had never found before that caused the doctors, the scientists and the programmers were so serious.
“I observe that my son always surf the social network all day and all night. I’m afraid my son will be a social network addict,“ Mrs. Nadia Kukimiya the mother of 20-year-old Srinakharinwirot University student, Mr. Nadach Kukimiya testified to reporters. “Yesterday, Nadach didn’t go to university. He got sick and vomited blood hardly. I was so shocked and then I took him to the nearest hospital,” she added with a bad expression.
“I can’t believe. It’s so unbelievable. The social networks are just the application programs that can’t be harmful to anyone for sure,” Mark Elliot Zuckerberg who owns a famous social network, Facebook said.
“RealIy? I’m so shocked,” Evan Williams, one of the founders of Twitter said to reporters. “If my application program is a part of mistake, I’m willing to share responsibility.”
Chris Dewolfe, one of the creators of My Space revealed “It can be possible because if people surfs internet or social network for consecutive hours everyday, their health will deteriorate. They should get more rest or do something as hobby such as dance, sing and exercise.”
Ministry of Public Health of Thailand gave warning to Thai students that they shouldn’t be addicted to social network too much. It’s so dangerous. This mysterious social network virus tends to spread to other countries. Ministry of Information and Communication Technology will bring this case to the meeting room tomorrow.
